Nero (54-68). AE Sestertius, Lugdunum mint, 66 AD. Obv. IMP NERO CAESAR AVG PONT MAX TR POT P P. Laureate head left, with globe at point of bust. Rev. Bird's eye view of harbour, [pharos surmounted with statue of Neptune at top], reclining figure of Tiber to left, holding rudder and dolphin, ships in centre, pier and breakwater to left and right; S-C high across fields, PORT AVG below. RIC I (2nd ed.) 514; C. 254. 17.72 g. 32.00 mm. RR. Very rare and interesting type. Light green patina with earthen deposits. Some roughness. VF.
