Sicily. Selinos. AR Litra, c. 417-409 BC. Obv. Nymph seated left on rock, right hand raised above her head, extending her left hand to touch coiled serpent standing before her; selinon leaf above. Rev. ΣEΛINOEΣ. Man-headed bull right; fish right in exergue. HGC 2 1229; SNG ANS 711; SNG Lloyd 1271. AR. 0.70 g. 11.50 mm. RR. Very rare and in excellent condition for issue. Lightly toned, a little porous surfaces. Good VF.
