Heraclius, with Heraclius Constantine (610-641). AE Follis countermarked on Follis of Heraclius and Heraclius Constantine of Constantinople. Syracuse mint. Obv. Facing busts of Heraclius and Heraclius Constantine within an oval punch stamped over the large M of the undertype. Rev. SCL within a circular punch stamped over the standing figures of undertype. D.O. 242; Sear 883. AE. 10.11 g. 34.50 mm. Large flan. The undertype was previously struck over an unidentified type. Good VF/VF.
