Galeria Valeria, wife of Galerius (died 315 AD). AE Follis, Serdica mint, 307-308 AD. Obv. GAL VALERIA AVG. Diademed bust right, wearing embroidered robes, on crescent. Rev. VENERI VICTRICI. Venus standing facing, head left, holding apple and raising drapery over shoulder; star - Δ across field; in exergue, •SM•SD•. RIC VI 43; C. 6 (Fr. 8). AE. 8.89 g. 27.00 mm. Scarce. A very attractive example. Broad flan, lovely deep brown patina. Slightly rough surfaces, otherwise. about EF/ Good VF.
