C. Vibius C.f. Pansa. AR Denarius, circa 90 BC. Obv. P[ANSA] Laureate head of Apollo right; below chin, control symbol. Rev. Minerva in fast quadriga right, holding spear and reins in left hand and trophy in right; in exergue, C·VIBIVS·C·F. Cr. 342/5b; B. 1. AR. 4.04 g. 17.00 mm. Sound metal and full weight. A superb example, sharply struck, brilliant and prettily toned. Gash on reverse, made before striking, otherwise. EF. A very interesting overweight example, despite the gash across the reverse surface. (C.
