Justinian II (First Reign, 685-695). AV Solidus, Syracuse mint. Obv. ∂ IЧStI - NIANЧ PP. Crowned facing bust, wearing slight beard and chlamys, and holding globus cruciger,. Rev. VICTORIA - AVϚЧ Є (placed vertically). Cross potent set on three steps; Star in field to left, and K to right; beneath, CONOB. D.O. 46; MIB (second reign) 12; Sear 1287. AV. 4.20 g. 19.00 mm. RRR. Extremely rare and in exceptional condition for issue, brilliant and virtually as struck. Good EF.
