Tetricus I (270-273). AE Radiate, Cologne mint. Obv. IMP C [TETRICVS P F] AVG. Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev. SPES AVG[G]. Spes, draped, walking left, holding flower in right hand and raising robe with left hand. RIC V 132. AE. 2.1 g. 16 mm. Nicely centred on a small flan so the legends are mostly missing. Very crude style of reverse, not unusual for the time and mint though. Lovely brown patina. A nice study piece. VF. The proceeds from the sale of this coin will be allocated to charitable purposes, as designated by the owner.
