Anonymous sextantal series. AE Triens, after 211 BC. Obv. Helmeted head of Minerva right, wearing beaded necklace; above, four pellets. Rev. Prow of galley right; above, ROMA; below four pellets. Cr. 56/4. AE. 10.93 g. 25.00 mm. Coarse and peculiar style, apparently close to Luceria, but without mint-mark. While highlighting its particular style, we prudently attribute it to the Anonymous Sextantal Series. Nice dark patina, minor cleaning marks. VF.
