Military helmet, front view, wreath featuring acanthus leaf around, with cheek pieces and straps; star above, flanked by palm branches. Rev. ΗΡΩΔΟΥ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ. Tripod with ceremonial bowl (lebes) above, flanked by LΓ (date) to left, and monogram to right. Hendin 1169; Meshorer 44; HGC 10, 651. AE. 5.92 g. 23.50 mm. A choice example. Dark green patina. VF.
