Augustus (27 BC - 14 AD) with Rhoemetalces I, King of Thrace. AE 23 mm, 11 BC-12 AD. Obv. ΚΑΙΣΑΡΟΣ ΣΕΒΑΣΤΟΥ. Bare head of Augustus right; long-necked vase to right. Rev. ΒΑΙΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΡΟΙΜΗΤΑΛΚΟΥ. Jugate heads of Rhoemetalces and his queen Pythodoris right. RPC I 1711; SNG Cop. 1188. AE. 8.79 g. 23 mm. A superb example, in excellent state of preservation for issue.
Choice dark green patina. About EF.
